Europe Direct Central Information Service

The Europe Direct is an information network that covers the entire EU and provides a central information service, which can be contacted by phone or through the internet, as well as local information services in every EU country.
In Cyprus, there are four Europe Direct Information Centres (EDIC):

Europe Direct Larnaca
Europe Direct Limassol
Europe Direct Pafos
Europe Direct Nicosia

There are also two European Documentation Centres (EDC): at the University of Cyprus and at the University of Nicosia

The European Commission Representation in Cyprus

The European Commission has Representations in each of the 28 Member States of the European Union. The Representations form part of the Directorate General for Communication (known as DG COMM) and constitute an important point of reciprocal communication between the EU and the European citizens.

Office of the European Parliament in Cyprus

The Office of the European Parliament in Cyprus is part of the network of offices which the European Parliament has established in the capitals of the member states in order to provide accurate information to citizens on the European Union, with special emphasis on the role and work of the European Parliament.


The official website of the European Union is available in 24 languages and provides information on the history, operation, legislation, the member states and the policies of the EU.

“Your Europe”

The portal 'Your Europe' gives individuals and businesses practical information on their rights and opportunities in the EU. It focuses on real-life, cross-border situations, e.g. European citizens wishing to work or study in another EU country, or European businesses wishing to move to or to open a new branch in another country of the EU.
